Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA), Government of Andhra Pradesh, issued notification inviting applications for filling up 5,962 vacancies, 1,657 posts of Village Revenue Officers and 4,305 posts of Village Revenue Assistants, with the Revenue Department through direct recruitment in 23 districts of the state. The interested candidates were free to apply online through CCLA website till 13th January, 2014.

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of performance in the written test. The 100 marks test will be of objective type and have questions on general studies (60 marks), arithmetic skills (30 marks) and logical skills (10 marks). The question paper, which will be of Intermediate level (for the post of VRO) and SSC level (for the post of VRA), will be in Telugu, English and Urdu.

In the General Studies section, 50 percent of the questions (30 marks) will be aimed at testing the knowledge of the candidates on rural areas and rural living conditions.

For problems regarding online submission and download of hall-tickets, the candidates may call at 040-23120118 on all working days from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5 pm.
