New Delhi: Google held its annual I/O conference in San Francisco, California to take this opportunity to introduce its latest Android 4.1 operating system named 'Jelly Bean'.  Google also launched its first tablet named Nexus 7 which has 7- inch screen. By this, Google is trying to capture the pie of tablet market which is dominated by companies like Apple and Samsung. 

However, with Jelly Bean, Google has promised that it will be equipped with power to facilitate faster search on internet and it is more conducive for photo sharing etc.

It has one important feature of 'Google Now'. This application has the ability to provide important information automatically to the users e.g, it can give you relevant information related to one’s travel. Google claimed that this application will get smarter with its usage. 

Jelly bean also has the capability of offline voice typing. Android already had voice dictation abilities but with Jelly Bean it can also work without a network connection. It also promises smarter keyboard with a feature of predicting your next word before you type.

With the power of new technology called near-field communications, photos can be shared by tapping two phones together.

Google has also improved on the overall user interface in Jelly Bean. It claims to be more smooth and responsive. Navigation through the interface is seamless and smooth, that is why it is named Project Butter. Touch input boost is also improved. 

Jelly Bean is expected to hit the international market by mid-july.
