The regions that are currently receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow update  for LG G4 include Portugal, Romania, Germany, Spain, and Hungary. The users residing in United Kingdom are also reportedly receiving the update notifications on their G4 smartphone.

To recall, LG had back in October started the Marshmallow update rollout for the G4 in Poland. The South Korean company is expected to expand the availability of the update to other regions including Asia, and the Americas soon.

LG has also listed down some of the features in the latest Android build which includes:

  • Battery optimisation
  • Knock Code setting,: which will be updating an improved experience for the latest Operating system build.
  • Direct Share: It will help to show the users to frequently share combinations of recommended apps and people.
  • Silent Mode and sound profile
  • Auto-brightness
  • Memory setting have been added to the list
  • Screen for Apps settings has been simplified

Some may recall that, much like with Lollipop android last year, LG quickly released the new OS build to G4 users in Poland, a country which often sees itself serving as a test market for this kind of thing. Soon after Korean variants started to get 6.0. Now it seems the time is finally at hand for Europe-at-large to munch on Marshmallow, though sadly not all of it.
