New Delhi: Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare and yoga guru Baba Ramdev will once again share the dais to hold a token fast in the capital on June 3.

Hazare and Ramdev have decided to fast for a day at Ramlila Maidan. The two have joined hands to fight against corruption. The two addressed a joint press conference in late afternoon in Gurgaon on Friday in this regard.

It is to be noted, Anna Hazare went on a day-long fast at Jantar Mantar on March 25.

Talking to the reporters, Anna Hazare said, “I will travel with Baba Ramdev to different parts of the country to reach out to the people in each and every corner of the nation.”

Addressing the press conference, Baba Ramdev mentioned the CAG report that hinted at a multi-billion corruption in coal mining and said, “The list of the scams under the present union government is endless. There is Adarsh Society scam, Commonwealth Games scam, coal mining scam and many more. On moral grounds, the government does not have the right to remain in power.”

He urged the people of the country to support them in bringing back blackmoney stashed abroad and for creating social and economic justice.

Replying to the queries as to why no Team Anna member was present at the press conference, Baba Ramdev said, “They are engaged in collecting data regarding the corrupt practices adopted by the politicians of this country.”

He assured that his Baharat Swabhiman Sangathan is with Anna Hazare in his anti-corruption crusade.
