Gurgaon: After being physically unstable for a long time, the health condition of anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare is showing improvement, doctors said on Monday.

Hazare was admitted in Gurgaon based Medanta Medcity hospital with complaints of breathlessness and high blood pressure.

However, the doctors claimed that his condition is fairly stable but Hazare’s BP level and pulse rate remains unstable. “Even his complaints regarding urinating have improved but he is still witnessing problems in breathing,” said Dr A K Dubey, Medical Superintendent at Medanta Medcity hospital.

Dubey said a team of doctors led by cardiologist Dr R R Kasliwal and Gastrologist Dr Randhir Sood is examining Hazare after he was admitted on Sunday.

He further said that the panel of doctors carried out number of medical tests and results of some of the tests are awaited.  Dubey also said Anna is likely to undergo more tests on Tuesday and any decision on discharge from hospital will be taken after results in all the tests.

In August last year, he was admitted to the same hospital for a routine check-up soon after he had ended his 13-day fast on the Lokpal issue.

As per the sources, Hazare’s condition witnessed no sign of improvement and further deteriorated while he was undergoing treatment in Pune's Sancheti Hospital after his two-days fast in Mumbai.

Team Anna members including Manish Sisodia, Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhushan on Monday met Hazare.
