New Delhi: Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare has warned the Central government against any attempt to disrupt his August 16 protest. The defiant social activist said that if the government tries to stop his fast forcefully, he would retaliate by quitting even drinking water.

In a meeting convened on Thursday, Team Anna prepared their strategies to protest against the officials Lokpal Bill.

Allaying reports of differences in Team Anna, RTI activist Arvind Kejriwal said that no compromises will be made with the government regarding provisions of the ‘Jan Lokpal’ Bill.

Swami Agnivesh, on Wednesday, had stated that issues related to higher judiciary and Prime Minister can be taken into consideration provided the government incorporates provisions to check corruption at all levels of bureaucracy.

Meanwhile, Team Anna is satisfied with the site given by Delhi Police for holding the protest. The movement ‘India against corruption' will be carried out at Jai Prakash National Park, near Feroz Shah Kotla on August 16.

Team Anna has already filed application for the site which belongs to Central Public Welfare Department (CPWD).
