New Delhi: After a long tussle over the revelation of Delhi gang rape victim’s identity, the South Municipal Corporation on Monday announced to dedicate a Science museum to the 23-year-old paramedical student who was brutally raped and assaulted in a moving bus in the national capital on December 16 last year.

The museum situated at Motibagh area of South Delhi will be dedicated to the braveheart who succumbed to her injuries on December 29 last year. As per the sources, the victim’s father has already given his consent to the move.

Earlier, Union Minister Shashi Tharoor has favoured making the identity of the victim public, if her family allows. The minister also advocated naming of the revised anti-rape legislation after the victim.

In an interview, the victim’s father has not objected the proposal and said that it will be a proud moment for the family if the revised anti-rape legislation would be named after their daughter.
