Kadam delivered these vitriolic statements in the presence of the Gujarat Chief Minister in an election rally on Monday in Kalyan near Mumbai.

Former leader of opposition and currently member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, Kadam claimed Modi would seek vengeance from Pakistan for killing Indian soldiers. The eccentric Sena leader crossed all the limits when he called Prime Minister ‘shameless’.

“Within six months of becoming the PM, Modi will take action against those Pakistanis who have beheaded our soldiers. Manmohan Singh and (Maharashtra CM) Prithviraj Chavan are shameless, but Modi will not spare those Pakistanis," Kadam commented at a rally.

“If 5 lakh Muslims can gather at the Azad Maidan, vandalize memorials, attack policemen and molest policewomen... Narendra Modi will surely teach them a lesson,” he added.

Modi on Tuesday had warned his party and NDA leaders to avoid giving out any divisive and petty comments, which could deviate their election campaign from the core issues of development and good governance.

Kadam’s statement came on the back drop of BJP senior leader Giriraj Singh courted controversy for the saffron party after saying in an election rally that Modi critics should go and settle in Pakistan.

Another leader from the saffron fold, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) president Praveen Togadia had attracted widespread criticism for his hate speech against Muslim.
Recent such ludicrous statements by several NDA leaders have come as a major embarrassment for Modi, who on the contrary is fighting election on the issues of development and growth.
