Jaipur: The Rajasthan Congress witnessed huge ripple with party MLAs and office bearers of the organization upping the ante against the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

The MLAs and leaders are lobbying hard against the regime change in Rajasthan. Over a dozen of anti-Gehlot MLAs met Ahmed Patel, political secretary to Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

The rebels said to Patel that the CM pays no heed to the grievances of MLAs which causes dissatisfaction among the legislatures.

They informed Patel that if the CM is not replaced, the party would suffer in the next assembly polls to be held in 2013.

Few days back, the CM asked the MLAs, “If you have any complaint with minister, you can directly meet me. And if you have complaint with me, you are free to approach the party high command.”

Sources said, the MLAs requested Patel that Sonia Gandhi be apprised of their grievances. The bureaucracy is creating hindrance in the smooth functioning of the administration, rebels alleged.

They said the functioning of Gehlot government has tarnished the image of Congress. Patel assured the rebels that party high command will be apprised of their grievances. The leaders like Sonaram Chaudhary, Udaylal, Anjana, Gangasahay Sharma, Pana Chand Meghwal, CL Premi, Daulatraj Nayaj, Jajir Husain Gahsawat, Ruparam Dudi, Lal Shankar Gatia, Sajjan Katara, Ganesh Singh Parmar, Pushkar Dangi and Pradeep Kumar Singh met the political secretary of the Congress president.
