With the bill for formation of a separate state of Telangana set to come up for debate in Parliament on Tuesday, YSR Congress and Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers (APNGOs) Association, which represents the government employees of Seemandhra, held the protests.

Jagan was one of the 16 MPs suspended by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar last week when unprecedented clashes among pro and anti-Telangana lawmakers marred the tabling of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation 2013 Bill. An MP from Seemandhra even used pepper spray in the House.

“Of the MPs suspended, majority of them belong to Seemandhra. Now there is nobody to protest in the well of the House. So, the Congress party plotted it. The only way they could do is create a scene,” Reddy said.
