In terms of build and body composition, both HTC One and Apple iPhone 5S walk hand in hand. Both the smartphones sport an aluminum and glass body which makes it sturdy. HTC is, however, sleeker than iPhone 5S which gives it a more chic look.

The iPhone 5S sports a bright 4-inch LCD display with full sRGB standard and widescreen video. HTC One on the other hand comes with a 4.7-inch Full HD Super LCD 3 screen with 1980 x 1080 pixel resolution.

When it comes to battery, the HTC One features a built-in rechargeable 1,560mAh lithium-ion battery which delivers up to 10 hours on 3G talk time and standby time of up to 250 hours on 3G. iPhone 5S on the other hand packs a  built-in rechargeable 2300 mAh lithium-ion polymer battery which delivers  up to 18 hours on 3G talk time and standby time of up to 480 hours on 3G.

The iPhone 5S features an 8 mega-pixel rear camera with f2.2 aperture. It also packs in two-LED flash, one cool and white, while the other is warm and amber. While HTC One fosters a 4 UltraPixel rear camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The phone also comes with an array of camera app features thanks to Sense 5.

The iPhone 5S, comes with the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system, iOS 7. It has been almost completely redesigned, and comes with a bag-lot of new features.

The HTC One on the other hand, runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean along with Sense 5. The phone comes with a handful of preloaded apps from HTC and a few other useful features built in to the operating system, such as battery saving options.
