New Delhi: Apple is likely to launch iPhone 5S this summer, according to a report published in The Wall Street Journal.

The report stated Apple is set to start production of the new iPhone in the second quarter of this year.

The report doesn't go into detail about the iPhone 5S features saying that the product will be of similar shape and size as the iPhone 5, but will come with upgraded internal hardware.

Simultaneously, the company is also working on a cheaper iPhone model that could win it some market share in developing countries, it said.

The iPhone 5 costs around USD 600.
