From past five years Google has been the default search provider for Apple’s Safari browser and the partnership is set to discontinue in 2015. Also, reports say that Apple has been trying to distance itself from Google in recent days.

Google's You Tube service no longer comes as a part of iOS and also Google maps has been replaced by Apple's own patented service.

Marking this as an advantage, both Microsoft and Yahoo are trying to get Apple's attention to replace Google from its iOS devices.

Both the tech giants have spoken to Apple's senior vice president of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue for replacing Google.

A week ago, Mozilla too dumped Google by Yahoo as its default search provider.
