iOS 7.1 Beta 3 includes several bug fixes and visual tweaks aimed at improving usability. For example, the dialer has been updated with new buttons including a new call button, and some icons have been toned down to move away from the neon look. The keyboard’s design has also been changed a little as the characters have been made bold so as to make them easy to see.

Focusing on minimalistic styling, Apple has replaced the standard incoming call screen and rectangular buttons with a black background and two circular Decline and Accept icons. Even the green colour in the Phone, messages and FaceTime application icons has been toned down. This makes the operating system look slightly darker.

According to sources, iOS 7.1 may not hit consumers’ devices till March, indicating that it would be subject to lengthy testing period.
