After the revised prices, the 8 GB variant of iPhone 4S will cost Rs 31,500 including taxes, whereas the 16 GB variant of the phone will be available at a price of Rs 38,500 exclusive of taxes.

The iPhone 4S has also been included under the buyback offer that Apple introduced early this year. According to media reports, the handsets will be sold through Ingram Micro and Redington in India from now on.

Recently the company had announced that Reliance Communications would be rolling out its iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C smartphones from November 1 in India. iPhone 5C will be available at price starting from Rs 41,900 and iPhone 5S at Rs 53,500, the company said.

iPhone 5C will be a choice for consumers evaluating Apple's 16 GB model of iPhone 5, while iPhone 5S can be an option for customers looking for an alternate option to 64 GB model of iPhone 5.
