Xiaomi Mi4i

Chinese mobile maker Xiaomi on April 23 unveiled its first 'Made for India' smartphone 'Mi 4i', priced at Rs 12,999.

Xiaomi Mi 4i sports a 5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor backed by 2GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes with 16 GB storage.

It has a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone flash and a 5MP front shooter. Mi4i gets its power from a 3,120mAh battery. On connectivity front, it supports 3G, 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-and GPS.

Gionee Elife S7

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee launched its Elife S7 at Rs 24,999 in India with 5.2-inch display, 2GB RAM, 13MP camera, 2750 mAh battery and more.

The Elife S7 features 5.2 inches super AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution which is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It runs on Android OS, v5.0 (Lollipop). The device is clocked at Octa-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 Mediatek MT6752 processor paired with Mali-T760MP2, the processor is coupled with 2GB worth of RAM.
On the memory front, Gionee's smartphone gets 16GB internal memory storage capacity. However, there is no room  for the microSD card. The rear surface of the camera comes fitted with 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, autofocus, Geo-tagging and HDR features, while the front surface features an 8-megapixel camera.

Asus ZenFone 2

Smartphone maker Asus on April 23 unveiled the latest version of the budget phone ZenFone 2 in India at Rs 12,999. With all new design, ZenFone 2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD and a (1280x1920p) IPS display.

The ZenFone 2 is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. and has 4GB RAM. The phone will be available in two RAM variants - with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and another with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. Phone will be available in 16, 32 and 64GB storage variants.

The dual-sim ZenFone 2 has a 13MP PixelMaster camera with an f/2.0 wide-aperture lens and a 5MP front-facing camera. The phone runs on Google's Android 5.0 Lollipop with a new version of Asus ZenUI.

Microsoft Lumia 640, 640 XL

American tech giant Microsoft is launched its dual-sim Windows Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL smartphones in the Indian market on April 7.

The Lumia 640 features 5.0 inches IPS LCD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The device is clocked at Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 paired with Adreno 305, the processor is coupled with 1 GB worth of RAM. It runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim. It gets an 8MP camera on the rear surface and sports a 1MP camera on its front surface. It is in-built with 8GB of internal memory (30 GB free OneDrive and micro SD support up to 128 GB).

The Lumia 640XL sports 5.7 inches IPS LCD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The handset comes fitted with Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 coupled with Adreno 305 along with 1GB RAM. The new Lumia smartphone gets 8GB internal memory storage capacity which can be expanded up to 128 GB. The rear surface flaunts a 13MP camera with LED flash and the front gets 5MP camera.

HTC Desire 826

Taiwanese handset maker HTC on April 4 had launched a new smartphone 'Desire 826' in India for Rs 25,990. The HTC Desire 826 features 5.5 inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution.

The handset runs on Android OS, v5.0.1 (Lollipop). Along with this, it is clocked at Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 chipset paired with octa-core CPU, with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz and another four only going up to 1 GHz which is complimented by 2GB RAM. The HTC Desire 826 embraces 16GB internal storage capacity which can be expandable up to 128 GB.

It gets 13-megapixel camera on the rear surface with LED flash and a 4-megapixel camera on the front surface. The body of the device carries non-removable Li-Po 2600 mAh battery for long lasting usage. On the connectivity front, the device is blessed with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and hotspot.

HTC One M9+

Mobile device maker HTC on April 14 unveiled its premium 4G smartphone M9 Plus priced at Rs 52,500 which will be available from this month.

It comes with 5.2 inch screen which has 2K of screen resolution. M9 plus is equipped with a 20 megapixel camera. The M9 Plus has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage version. The storage is expandable up to 2 terabyte with help of external memory card.

Oppo N3

Leading global electronic gadgets maker OPPO on April 8 launched the latest edition of its N series smartphone 'N3' at Rs 42990 in India.

The smartphone features an unique rotating camera which it claimed is the world's thinnest yet. The N3 focuses on detailing and its 16 megapixel camera can take high-resolution images for high quality prints.

In addition to add to its user-friendly functionalities, the R5 also includes OPPO's mini rapid charging system, where a 30-minute charge will provide 75 percent battery life and a five-minute charge will allow for a two-hour call.

Lenovo K80

Chinese smartphone firm Lenovo on April 27 had launched a highly-efficient power backed Android smartphone – K80 – built-in with a 4 GB of RAM and 4000mAh battery.

The 4G-enabled K80 smartphone runs on Android Lollipop and is powered with a 64-bit Intel Atom 1.8GHz processor. The smartphone is powered with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.

The screen of the device is 5.5-inch in size with a resolution of 1080 pixels. The Lenovo new launch features 13 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and a front-facing camera.
