Mumbai: Bollywood’s arch rivals Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan will now clash on hockey field. The franchise-based World Series Hockey's (WSH) to be held in eight cities across the country from 17 to 24 December may feature the clash of the Khans.

Indian Premier League has always been graced by tinsel town celebrities’ presence and now national game Hockey will witness top Bollywood celebrities promoting different teams.

The organizers of the inaugural WSH are looking forward to rope in Bollywood's biggest stars - Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to add the oomph factor to the mega event.

The entertainment company, Wizcraft, recently acquired the Delhi franchise of WSH, named Delhi Wizards. According to the sources close to WSH, Wizcraft is likely to convince SRK to become the brand ambassador of the Delhi team. Shahrukh is also the brand ambassador of the IIFA awards organized by Wizcraft.

On the other hand everyone is aware of Salman’s fondness for cricket and football. He was made the brand ambassador of the All Indian Football Federation (AIFF) for some time but was later replaced by Leander Paes.

Harish Thavani CEO, Nimbus, event's prime promoter, is a close friend of Salman and is likely to get him on the board for the Mumbai Franchise.
