Arjun Kapoor essays the role of Pintu, a guy from Agra who is a kabbadi player and respects woman.

The trailer reveals the story of Radhika, a beautiful girl from Mathura played by Sonakshi Sinha, who is harassed by a local leader-cum-goon  Gajendra Singh essayed by Manoj Bajpayee.

Gajendra wants to marry Radhika against her wish and is seen dragging the girl forcibly into his jeep. It's then Pintu who saves girls from injustice and frees Radhika from the clutches of goons, unaware of the power and influence of Gajendra. This leads to enmity between Pintu and Gajendra.

Arjun with his action packed fight sequences and the oneliner 'Kabbadi Kabbadi Kabbadi, Kiski Modun Gurdun, Kiskii Todun Haddi?'  depicts the the real attitude of Indian cinema.

Helmed by Amit Ravindranath Sharma, the film is a remake of Telugu movie 'Okkadu' which starred Mahesh Babu, Bhoomika Chawla and Prakash Raj in lead.

Produced by Boney Kapoor, the film also features Shruti Haasan in an item song, titled 'Madamiya'.

Bannered by Sanjay Kapoor Entertainment and Eros International, 'Tevar' is slated to release on 9th January.
