Vaishnav Narvekar will lead the side, the MCA stated in a release. Southpaw Arjun was earlier dropped from the 30-member probable squad picked last July. He was later included after seven players from the first list failed to fulfil the residential criteria.

Owing to poor performance during the selection trials and previous tournaments, Arjun Tendulkar was dropped from Mumbai’s under-14 probable list earlier in July this year.

Playing the role of a protective father, senior India batsman Sachin Tendulkar earlier asked the media to leave his "cricket mad" son Arjun alone and allow him to play the game without any pressure.
