New Delhi: Owing to poor performance during the selection trials and previous tournaments, Arjun Tendulkar has been dropped from Mumbai’s under-14 probable list, reported a leading daily.

The Mumbai Cricket Association’s (MCA) junior selection committee asserted that Tendulkar junior had failed to score even a single half century in the summer vacation matches conducted by them. He also failed to bat well during another trial match, in which the best batsmen were paired against ace bowlers from Varroc Cup, they added.

However, Arjun’s lack of intensity on the field was another reason cited by the MCA, which kept him out of the under-14 list.
