Jaipur: The Army had to launch a massive search operation on Thursday to recover some documents that fell out from an Army helicopter in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar district, adjacent to Pakistan border.

The documents along with some maps of strategic importance fell down from an Army helicopter on its way from Anupgarh to Gharsana.

According to officials, the helicopters had to land in BSF headquarters in Satrana. Near Patroha village in Sri Ganganagar district, many documents and maps flew out from one of the helicopters.

Since the documents fell out over agricultural fields, the choppers could not land in the fields immediately. The Army officers launched a massive search operation with the help of farmers.

Their efforts paid off as they were able to find those documents.
