Jammu: The Army on Wednesday recovered a cache of arms, rations and blankets from the hideouts of terrorists in the Pattushahi Nar area near the Line of Control in the Kupwara district.

Defence Ministry Spokesperson JS Barar said, “The area is in the Lolab valley. The personnel of 28 RR along with the local police had launched a massive search operation on late Tuesday evening.”

The terrorists were hiding in a cave in the dense forest at Pattushahi Nar. During the search operation, the Army also recovered some important documents as well as 1 kg RDX, 0.5 kg IED, 2kg PEK explosive, 10 detonators, 4 AK magazine, 79 cartridges of sniper rifles and China made tripod of UMG.
