Hissar: Making India proud, three artists from Karnal have registered their names in the Guinness Book of World Records. In a painting competition organized by the National Integrated Forum for Artists and Activists (NIFAA), the trio of father Vedprakash, daughter Chetna and son Sikander emerged winners and were felicitated with a certificate by the Guinness book in Hissar.

About 5,000 artists from all over the country participated in the national level competition held in Hissar.  The participants had to create paintings related to the atomic bomb blast in Hiroshima and Nagasaki during the World War II.

The artists from Karnal had depicted humane emotions related to the incident in their paintings which won them the coveted prize.
