New Delhi: Joining the league of leaders having bogus accounts on social networking sites, Rajya Sabha member and senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley has complained about a fake account by his name on Twitter to the Delhi Police.

Taking serious note of the account created by an unidentified person , Jaitley has approached the Delhi Police which have registered the case under 66 Information Technology Act.

In his complaint, Jaitley has clarified that he is not running any account in the name of @Jaitleyarun on Twitter. The fake account holder also uses his photograph and is constantly tweeting and following others on the networking site.

Ram Sundar, Inspector Crime department has been assigned with the responsibility to probe into the matter. Besides, the Cyber Cell department has contacted twitter operator to give details about the account holder operating the fake account.

Earlier, similar complaints were reported by the Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh and Rahul Gandhi.
