According to sources, Arunoday plays Kabir's son in the film and will feature in action sequences with Hrithik.

"We needed someone who was good looking but could evoke a sense of being fierce in order to play the young antagonist opposite Hrithik's character," director  Ashutosh Gowariker said.

Gowariker feels that Arunoday will "look more believable as Kabir Bedi's son on screen" and "perfectly suited the role."

Shooting of the film has already started and Hrithik has shed weight to get into the role.

"Hrithik will sport a leaner look in the film and he had been following a strict workout regimen specially designed by his own trainer to make sure he is in shape to start the film", a source continued.

"He will have gruelling action sequences in the film and had been undergoing tremendous training sessions for the same. He is one of the fittest actors in Bollywood and wants to make sure that the action scenes turn out brilliant", the director added.

"The action scenes will have me and Hrithik going head to head with each other. I am very excited about shooting those portions", Arunoday said, who will also be seen doing some dare-devil action sequences.

"Moreover, the action stunts in 'Mohenjo Daro' will be supervised by Hollywood stunt coordinator Glenn Boswell who again gives me a different high altogether", the actor added.
