New Delhi: Social activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal, whose hunger strike against ‘inflated’ power and water bills entered the fourteenth day on Friday, is likely to make an announcement on ending his indefinite fast.
 
According to sources, Kejriwal can end his hunger strike anytime. The development comes a day after Gandhian leader Anna Hazare met Kejriwal on again urging him to end fast immediately.

If the sources are to be believed, Kejriwal has called for an all-religion prayer meeting at the public park in East Delhi.  After the meeting, he may announce that the date of ending his hunger strike.

National convener of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Kejriwal has lost more than six kilograms since his fast began on March 23. Kejriwal has been kept under doctors’ vigil and they have been checking on him twice a day. A statement from AAP on Thursday said, his "blood pressure was 111/73, pulse 64, sugar 131, ketones 3 and weight was 56.5 kg."

It also mentioned that AAP activist would reconnect the power and water connections snapped for non-payments of bills on Saturday. So far 9.6 lakh Delhiites have signed ‘Civil Disobedience Movement’, the statement claimed.
