The expose comes on a day when Delhites will start shelling out more money for electricity with power regulator DERC effecting upto three percent hike in tariff to adjust the power purchase cost of distribution companies.
The hike will be three percent for consumers of BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd and BSES Yamuna Power Ltd while the increase for those getting electricity from Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd is 1.5 percent.
The hike will come into effect from February 1 for next three months, following which DERC is likely to review the increase based on cost of buying power by the distribution companies.
