The CBI raids at the office of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar at the Secretariat here was based on a complaint filed by a former member secretary of Delhi Dialogue Commission (DDC) Ashish Joshi.

Joshi had in July registered complaints with CBI and Anti-Corruption Branch of Delhi government, accusing Kumar of indulging in corruption.

Joshi had been at loggerheads with the AAP dispensation after he was sent back to the Union Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, his parent cadre, in May.

In his July 13 complaint to CBI, Joshi alleged that Kumar along with his friends had formed a company which he later had got empanelled with a public sector unit for doing work for departments without tenders.
