With both the opening batsmen being injured, worries mount over Indian team which is already struggling with the bat on green tops of Bangladesh. The only respite for India is the change in the nature of pitch which is now on the slower side after so many matches.

The injury woes, though, are not limited to Indian side. Sri Lanka is having its share of scare with star bowler Lasith Malinga most probably sitting on the bench because of re-emergence of an injury.

Like India, Sri Lanka has been disappointed with the performance of opening batsmen Dilshan and Chandimal who were blamed for team's shock defeat against Bangladesh.

Conditions in Bangladesh have never favoured batsmen. Mirpur pitch, which has seen heavy depletion after Pakistan vs UAE match, will make it crucial for the teams to score during powerplay. Fast bowlers like Bumrah, Nehra and Chammera would wish to exploit the chance of bowling on such surface.
