New Delhi: A Delhi court on Thursday framed charges against two sacked drivers of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit's pilot car for allegedly misbehaving and outraging the modesty of a 22-year-old woman here.

Finding prima facie evidence against the accused, who were sacked following their arrest in June this year, Metropolitan Magistrate Navita Kumari Bagha said they would be tried for the offences.

The court framed charges under sections 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC against Jagdish Kumar
Vaishist and Rajesh Kumar, both aged 35.

"On June 1, 2011, at 10 pm at W point near Hanuman Mandir, New Delhi, you both in furtherance of your common intention uttered indecent words with intent to outrage the modesty of the complainant and you both thereby committed an offence punishable under section 509/34 of the IPC," it said.
