Smartphone-tablet hybrid PadFone X showcases a tablet dock with a 9-inch full-HD display. It also extends its arms to LTE-Advanced technology that includes Carrier Aggregation, Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and HD Voice. NFC connectivity is also available with the device. The company clearly stated that PadFone X will be available in US only with AT&T.

On the other hand, PadFone mini is powered by Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. Asus has assured an Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade for this device. 

It is installed with a 4-inch WVGA IPS+ LED-backlit display that possesses a resolution of 480 x 800 pixel. PadFone mini comes with a tablet dock that is built around 7-inch WXGA (800 x 1280 pixel) IPS+ LED-backlit display. The device runs on a dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor along with 1GB of LPDDR2 RAM.  

Asus PadFone mini also contains 8GB of built-in storage capacity that is further expandable upto 64GB via microSD card. It features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
