"The UPA Government has always been forthcoming on questions of national security. Whenever there has been an aberration, we have dealt with it firmly and strongly. Our track record bears testimony to it," he said.

He further said that whenever such an incident takes place, the Ministry of Defence should be allowed to react appropriately. "Parliament is in session, they would come out with a structured response," Tewari said.
