The House could not take up any business on the second day of the six-day Winter Session on Tuesday due to uproarious scenes created by the Opposition

As the House met for the day to take the Question Hour, the BJP and RJD members trooped into the well as part of their protests.
Leader of Opposition Nand Kishore Yadav asked Speaker Udai Narayan Chaudhary to suspend all business to take up discussion on serial bomb blasts during BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s rally in Patna on October 27.
RJD legislators protested deteriorating law and order situation in the state and police baton charge on agitating women students of a local college on Monday.
The protesting legislators shouted anti-government and anti-Chief Minister slogans. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was not present in the House.
When all persuasions failed to calm the protesting members, Speaker Udai Narayan Chaudhary adjourned the House till 12:30 pm. When the House reassembled, the scenario was no different.
The BJP members against entered into the well and demanded discussion on Gandhi Maidan blasts issue. The RJD members did not join them this time and they were seen sitting on their seats.
With the Speaker rejecting adjournment notice citing rules, the BJP members refused to relent. The Speaker then announced adjournment of the House till 2 pm.
