Perth: Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is coping a one-match ban for his bowlers' sluggish over-rate in the lost third Test here but his opposite number Michael Clarke's all-pace attack was a good four overs ahead of the required rate.

Both the teams went in with four-pronged pace attacks in the match that Australia won in just three days. But while Dhoni's team could not complete its quota of overs in time resulting in a ban on Dhoni, Clarke's men were not just quick in finishing off the match but also their overs.

The Australian attack of Peter Siddle, Ben Hilfenhaus, Ryan Harris and Mitchell Starc combined for a dominating show by Australia.

Captains were warned about penalties for slow over rates before the series and before the third Test, for which India dropped spinner Ravichandran Ashwin for seamer Vinay Kumar, a newspaper reported.
