A group of 10 women in Bihar has started running from Patna Junction prepaid auto service stand in the first phase of a women’s empowerment programme. Before taking the task, these women underwent three months training programme. They now possess  learners’ licenses as well as vehicles financed by banks.

Talkig about the service, Patna District Autorickshaw Drivers' Association secretary Naveen Kumar Mishra said, "We are in talks with Patna airport authority to start the services from there till then it will run form Patna Junction prepaid auto service stand."

According to Mishra, the prepaid booths were also coming up at Kali temple, Gandhi Maidan, Boring Road crossing, Sheetla mandir, Agamkuan, and Gaighat bridge.
