Lucknow: The ruling Bahujan Samaj Party in Uttrakhand has suspended former Animal Husbandry and Milk Development Minister Awadhpal Singh Yadav from the party on grounds of making offensive comments on party leadership.

Singh had filed a petition in Allahahad High Court stating that Chief Minister Mayawati forced him to submit resignation after he was indicted by the Lokayukta.

Considering it indiscipline, BSP sacked Avadhpal from the party.

However, Awadhpal Singh stated that his lawyer did the fault by filing the petition challenging the Lokayukta's verdict in the high court.

BSP state president Swami Prasad Maurya said the party has no brook for indiscipline and added that Awadhpal has tried to tarnish the image of the BSP by  making irresponsible remarks.
