Ayesha, who is now 20, says: ''More than being India’s youngest pilot, I am happy for having accomplished my childhood goal.”

Ayesha was lucky enough to meet the former NASA astronaut, John McBride. But her favourite moment was when she got a chance to meet her greatest inspiration, Sunita Williams in Worli.

“I met her when she came to Worli in 2013 or 2014. I shared my experiences with her. I told her about the activities I participated in NASA like scuba diving, moon walk and bunny walk which an astronaut should know'', she recalls.

She joined the flying school soon after completing her Class X. She took ground classes and cleared five viva sessions. And, on November 2013 she got her student pilot license. She was only 16 at that time. But, due to some financial issues, her training for commercial pilot license got delayed. She currently flies single engine Cessna 152 and Cessna 172.

Currently, she is pursuing her B. Sc. third year in Aviation from Bombay Flying Club. And the day she will complete 80 hours of the total 200 hours of flight, she will get her commercial pilot license.

Not only this, this young lady has done several photo shoots for a magazine  and a commercial ad for Whisper.

Hats off to this young achiever, an inspiration for many girls out there!
