Haridwar: There is a sigh of relief in Patanjali Yogpeeth as Baba Ramdev ended his vow of silence on Tuesday and talked to some prominent people on various important issues. Although he has  given instructions related with the functioning of the Yogpeeth but maintained a safe distance from the media.

Ramdev had started his ‘vow of silence’ on June 14 and it was announced that he would end it on June 20.

Patanjali Yogpeeth’s Acharya Balkrishna on Tuesday told that Ramdev is interacting with some prominent people but did not disclose their identity. He however, cleared that Baba Ramdev would interact with media soon. Since his observation of vow, Ramdev was communicating through written notes.

Talking about the Supreme Court (SC) notice to Bharat Swabhiman Trust (BST), Balkrishna said the trust is preparing to come out with all the clarifications sought by the Apex Court.

Earlier, Delhi police had filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court accusing the BST of mass gathering, protests for its political ambitions under the mask of an ordinary yoga camp. In its response, the SC issued a notice to the trust and asked for its response to the affidavit.

The BST has been asked to file its arguments by July 11.

Accusing the Delhi police of destroying the evidences captured on CCTV camera which were in favour of the Trust, Balkrishna said the media also has many footages and the trust would present them before the court in its defence.
