Haridwar/Chandigarh: Despite doctors advising yoga guru Baba Ramdev a complete bed rest,  he has indicated that he would continue a vow of silence till June 20. Not only this , he has refused to meet anybody after returning to Patanjali Yogpeeth here.

According to the sources, Baba will work on further strategy of his tirade against corruption and black money after he regains his strength.

One of the officials of Bharat Swabhiman Trust, Rajendra Tyagi said, “Doctors have advised Baba to take rest. He is still very weak and needs to take care of his health.”

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev had started his ‘Bharat Swabhiman Movement’ on June 4 in Delhi with full pomp and show. However, he along with his supporters were forcefully evicted out of Ramlila Maidan and sent to Haridwar by the Delhi Police.

However, he continued his fast which worsened his condition and was admitted in Himalaya hospital in Dehra Dun.

After repeated appeals by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Morarji Bapu, he finally ended his fast.

Criminal complaint against Baba

Meanwhile, Baba Ramdev’s fiery statement against the Central government has invited legal troubles for the yoga guru.

A criminal complaint has been filed against him for his vow of ‘constituting an army to tackle police action against his movement and for self-protection’, in a CJM court in Chandigarh.

The complaint was filed by Ravinder Singh Bassi, chairman of Lawyers for Humanity. The court would hear the case on July 27.

The complaint alleges Ramdev of ‘encouraging the youth for sedition’ and terms his statement of ‘creation of an army’ as an unlawful act.

Complaint has been filed against him under Sections 121, 121A, 122, and 124 of IPC.
