Dehradun: Slamming the Central government, yoga guru Baba Ramdev,who was discharged from a hospital in Jolly Grant on Tuesday, said his campaign  against corruption and black money will continue. He also said that the sacrifices made by his followers will not go in vain.

Ramdev while addressing mediapersons after reaching Haridwar lashed out at the Centre for the midnight crackdown at Ramlila Maidan on June 4 he said the protest in Delhi was peaceful, constitutional and did not violate any laws.

“We have just raised the voice of people and there is no harm in that. Barbarism on people committed on the night of June 4 will not be tolerated” he said.

The yoga guru also thanked his supporters and all the saints who came out in his support and stood with him in fight against injustice.

Speaking about his demands, Ramdev elaborated: “We want people with impeccable and honest record to get elected as public representatives. In addition, we also demand transparent election process .”

Criticising discrimination against the national language,Baba demanded high quality education in Hindi in order to enable the poor to benefit from the development.

Raising his voice against land acquisition policies, he asked the government to return the lands of the poor farmers.
