Haridwar: After raising voice against corruption and black money, Baba Ramdev has added illegal mining to his agenda and aims to launch a nation-wide campaign through his yoga practitioners.

The campaign not only aims to make people aware of the five main sources of black money but also intends to make people aware of the measures that have to be taken to stop the in-flow of the black money.

During a yoga camp here on Friday, the strategy for the campaign was prepared. The main in-charge of the Yogpeeth, Jaydeep Acharya said, “In order to make the issue more clear to people, our Bharat Swabhiman Trust is distributing pamphlets.”

The yoga guru has left no stone unturned for the success of the campaign. Fixing the responsibilities for the task, he has kept the officials of the Trust and Patanjali Yog Peeth in the core management committee.

Ramdev’s Trust is trying to spread awareness about the illegal mining activities going on in the country. The Trust highlighted that in pan-India there is permission for only 200 mining leases but one lakh illegal mines are operational in the country.
