Haridwar: In order to resume his fight against the Central government over the twin issue of corruption and black money, yoga guru Baba Ramdev is all set to launch his ‘pad yatra’ in order to directly connect with the masses on these issues.

The three-month-long yatra will commence on September 20 from Jhansi in Bundelkhand and will cover a distance of 2 lakh kilometre crossing through Uttarakhand, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.

Learning a lesson from his fast at Ramlila Maidan, this time Baba is busy in deep analysis of all aspects of the programme.

With the specific focus on the rural masses, Ramdev would also include other issues plaguing the rural areas like land acquisition apart from corruption and black money.

The march will break for festivals like Diwali and Durga Puja.

Interestingly, the Assembly elections are also lined up in these states. Initially Ramdev was to launch his march from Varanasi, but after a discussion with BJP leader Uma Bharti, he altered his plans and decided to launch his march from Bundelkhand.
