The offbeat entertainer is all set to become the first hit of 2015 as the movie has garnered huge amount of money due to the extended weekend till Monday.

The opening day saw a collection of around Rs. 9.3 crores. On Saturday, the film successfully grossed Rs. 11.71 crore while the film's collections rose on Sunday touching around Rs 15.60 crores. On the Republic Day, the movie has collected
Rs 14.90 crore across the country.

The film's producers are hopeful that the offbeat entertainer will touch the figure of Rs 100 crore in the coming days.

Also starring Taapsee Pannu, Anupam Kher, Rana Daggubati, Madhurima Tuli and Danny Denzongpa, 'Baby' has bagged mostly positive reviews from critics also.

While the other Bollywood release of last Friday,  Abhishek Dogra's directorial debut 'Dolly ki Doli', which features Sonam Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat and Rajkumar Rao managed to collect only  Rs15.29 crore in the four-day weekend.

According th the reports, 'Dolly ki Doli' producer Arbaaz Khan is just targeting the figure of  Rs 40 crore to seek profits.

'Baby' released across 2,500 screens while 'Dolly ki Doli' was released in around 1,200 screens in the country.
