The instant messaging app WhatsApp has recently rolled out an update to its Android app, with which the user can easily backup their conversations.

Android users can avail the backup facility by updating their WhatsApp to  2.12.45 version. The latest version to WhatsApp can be updated from the company’s official website.

After getting the new update, the user needs to go to the ‘Settings’ tab and then select the 'Chat Backup' option. Users then need to link their Gmail account that will directly associate his or her WhatsApp account to the drive.
