Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna on Tuesday asked the officials to work towards ensuring proper implementation of various development schemes run by the state government.

Bahuguna, while chairing a meeting of officials, noted that the benefits of schemes should reach every doorstep in the state, an official release quoting the Chief Minister said.

He asked the officials to chalk out an action plan for time-bound execution of various projects. The Chief Minister authorised the district administration for technical and administrative approval of development works upto Rs 50 lakh at block level and Rs one crore at division level.

Bahuguna directed the officers to prepare proposals for the next financial year, with a special focus on skill development of youth. He also asked the top brass of state police to keep a regular tab on the law and order situation of the state.
