Powered by a water-cooled DTSi 4 valve engine with a fuel efficiency of 36 km per litre and a top speed of 70 km per hour, Qute is easy to drive, compact, lightweight and is eco-friendly with an extremely low carbon emission, said Bajaj Auto in a statement.

"We have applied all our two-wheeler expertise of lightweight vehicle engineering and super-efficient power train technology based on DTS-i to create the Qute," said CTO Abraham Joseph.

'Qute' has been designed in response to evolving requirements of low cost, last mile public transport across the world by optimizing size, weight, cost and speed.
