Now, with all of these, it must sure breach sales figures. Yes, that’s exactly what the commuter-cruiser did! The Bajaj V15 has crossed 1 lakh bookings just within four months, since launch, which implies an average of 25000 bookings per month. These overwhelming sales figures led to V15 featuring in the top 10 best-selling motorcycles list for the month of April.

The 150 cc cruiser also helped Bajaj Auto gain a double-digit 10% share in the premium 125 cc commuter segment. The V15 also took very less time to clock 20000 bookings from the date of its launch. So, in order to cater to the unprecedented number of bookings the Bajaj Auto has gotten, the production of the motorcycle will also be increased to meet the rising demand, beginning from September. Bajaj Auto will also launch two more models or variants on the V platform in the late 2017-2018 fiscal year.

On the mechanical front, the Bajaj V15 sports the 149.5 cc, 4-stroke, SOHC, single-cylinder, DTS-I engine that develops 12 bhp of power at 7500 rpm and 13 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The V15 offers a mileage of 55 kmpl. The suspension duties are performed by the front telescopic forks suspension and the twin spring loaded hydraulic gas-filled suspension at the rear. The motorcycle has a 230 mm front disc brake and a 130 mm rear disc brake for braking.

The special features are the removable cowl, which is a segment-first feature. The large fuel tank built of the INS Vikrant metal is very prominent. The Bajaj V15 is priced at Rs. 62,002 (ex-showroom, Delhi) with three colour options as Black, White and Red.
