Nainital: In a reprieve to Ramdev's close aide Balkrishna who is facing CBI arrest on the charges of using fake educational certificates for procuring passport, the Uttarakhand High Court deferred the hearing to November 29 due to the absence of his counsel on Friday.

A single-member bench headed by Acting Chief Justice Tarun Agrawal adjourned the hearing till November 29 as Balkrishna’s counsel S K Agarwal was not present in the court on Friday due to personal reasons.

Balkrishna had moved the court challenging the CBI FIR against him and plead for grant of a stay on his arrest.

He had gone missing on July 24, a day after CBI had registered the case of cheating against him. However, he resurfaced on the evening of July 29 after the High Court granted a stay order on his arrest.
