United Nations, Jan 13 (Agencies): Closely monitoring developments in Lebanon, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon provided "full support" to the international tribunal investigating the assassination of Rafiq Hariri despite the collapse of the Government led by Hariri's son.

"The secretary general also calls for continuing dialogue among all parties and respect for the constitution and the laws of Lebanon. He reiterates his full support for the independent work of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon," spokesman Martin Nesirky in a statement.

The Government of Prime Minister Saad Hariri collapsed on Wednesday after the Hezbollah movement and its allies withdrew.

Media reports say that the tribunal will soon indict Hezbollah officials for the 2005 assassination.

The indictments are expected to be issued in weeks, but officials have not indicated who the suspects are.
