Los Angeles: Hollywood couple  Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith are opening up their home to US President Barack Obama to host an upcoming fundraiser.
Co-hosted by 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria, the October 24 event is aimed at the President's Latino supporters, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The event, the first ever national Latino gala for Obama's candidacy, will get underway at 6 pm at the Griffith-Banderas home, according to an updated invitation released by the campaign on Wednesday. Griffith and her actor husband were strong Obama supporters in 2008.
The event is expected to attract Latino Obama supporters from across the country, plus a number of Obama's Hollywood backers. It is the president's second Los Angeles visit since
